HISGN is hosting three moku meetups!
Join Mālaʻai’s Executive Director, Jeannette Soon-Ludes and HISGN Program Director, Eleonor Leite-Ah Yo, along with gardens educators and enthusiasts, to talk story at a casual pau hana outdoor event.
The afternoon will begin with a short tour of the host school’s garden followed by light pupus and talk story/networking with will be served.
We have paired up neighboring moku to gather at one meetup.
Hawaiʻi Prep Academy is our gracious host for the Hāmākua and Kohala districts. We will gather beginning at 4pm and tour the beautiful garden before filling our plates with light pupu’s as we build pilina and check-in on how the school year went. The event is geared towards supporting school gardens but anyone interested in supporting this effort is welcome to attend!
